Character NAME: Maglor
Canon & MEDIUM: The Silmarillion, a book by J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as some supplemental information from books in the Histories of Middle Earth series.
Canon PULL-POINT:
Character AGE: At least 3,500 though giving an exact age is impossible.
Character ABILITIES: Any canon abilities that your character may already possess.
Character HISTORY: Apologies for multiple links, but given the confusing nature of this canon, I thought it might be helpful; if one source lacks something you want to know, one of the others should be helpful. Here is the wiki article on The Silmarillion, specifically the synopsis of the relevant section for general context. This and this are both good wiki pages on him. Lastly, this is a comprehensive essay on him.

Character PERSONALITY: This is where you'll describe your character's personality. It is important to focus on your character's motivations and their goals, as well as their behaviour in any given situation and their interactions with canonmates. We would like a minimum of three full-length paragraphs, as this is easily the most important aspect of your character.

Character INVENTORY: Let us know here what your character will be bringing into the game! They can have everything on them that they're wearing, and anything that's in their pockets or a backpack or bag that they'd had at the time of being pulled into game.

Spoilers: No problem. I'm fully aware that tagging back and forth with a character from something I've not seen/played/read to completion is likely to contain spoilers, and I honestly don't mind. If I was really keen on not being spoiled for things, I'd stay off the Internet. :3
Weird text or typing quirks: Go right ahead and use 'em. If I ever have questions, I'll ask.
Fourth Wall Breaking: Go right ahead! Mags'll be weirded out, I'm sure, but I have no problems with it.

icish stuff
Wordspell Battling: Sure, if it makes sense IC! We'll want to plan it out. c:
Other fighting: Again, sure! Just uh... be warned that Maglor has over 500 years experience in fighting under his belt...
Injuries: Generally I'm pretty okay with injuries, if they make sense in context. More major things, ask me.
Death: If it makes sense and is really the only way to go, okay. But this is something that'd I'd want to really talk over first.
Hugging/Kissing/whatever: Sure! Maglor might not always respond well, but I don't mind.
Romance: Maglor is highly unlikely to reciprocate romantic advances while in Gora. I don't mind if a character tries their luck with him, but you should just be aware that it's unlikely to go anywhere with him. If you want more in depth reasons for this, just ask and I'll be happy to explain.

Name in Quenya (Maglor's native language): Kanafinwë Makalaurë Fëanorion
Name in Sindarin (a later adopted language): Maglor (... and again Feanorion, if you wish to append a patronymic surname)
Sindarin name as usually rendered in Japanese (or at least as I have seen it): Maguro, which is also the name of a type of tuna. :D

Real Age: ~ 3500 ish years?
How he appears in Gora: mid 20s

Height (and this is just headcanon): 6'4"
Hair: black and long and straight, though usually he keeps it at least partially bound back somehwo
Eyes: silvery grey
Skin: pretty pale, but to be fair elves were born and existed for a long time under just starlight, so it's not like they really needed much in the way of pigment until the sun was created.

I'm usually pretty quick to respond to things, but sometimes I get pretty busy IRL or get really distracted by things IRL or online and so miss things, so please don't feel bad about poking me to remind me about stuff -- especially tags and threads and things!
